Monkey wise
is an organisation which is formed by a group of talented and from diverse backgrounds of people whom come across that there
is no right or wrong answers if individuals put their thoughts to it. Monkey wise is developing a homepage on website which
will be created for young children with a philosophised way to put meanings to different words and images. It shows a monkey
climbing a tree and eating bananas but the reality is not the banana but words that pop out and express thoughts, fun, expressions
and feelings etc. Monkey wise also uses drama to explore thoughts and feelings through workshops & stories where people
can reflect on what is happening & react to what they experience creatively. By
generating new opportunities for creative reflection it hopes to bring about new actions.
Monkey wise provide services in facilitating drama workshops, dance and art workshops, and giving art workshops based
on ‘health’ for refugees, Latin Americans and others. It also offers women’s Project at Praxis, workshops
in schools for re-write. Outreach works in schools, community centres & youth clubs for Young Londoners Network are part
of the operation in which monkey wise has to offer.
Since monkey wise joined the forum it gained support on one to one basis in company development, use the office for
a meeting and research, support in administration, learnt about refugeeness. The benefit of joining the forum highlighted
as use of management, access to information, knowledge and experience, space to meet, internet access, and access to resources
such as books on funding, project management and development.
